Judge Mrs J. Cunningham (Walamadengie)

I would like to thank the Committee of the Midlands and Northern Rhodesian Ridgeback Club for my appointment to judge at such a well run show.  A big thank you to the exhibitors for making my day so enjoyable.

Minor Puppy Dog (4. 2a)     Lovely quality class to start the day.

1st  Cox’s Gens Julia Toretto Always The First At Carlingcox (imp).  Very promising balanced without any exaggeration, liked the stamp of this young man, who excelled in breed type, with many breed qualities to admire.  Clean outline with good spring and depth of rib.  Good head proportions, correct eye, lovely outline with good depth and well developed muscular back.  Very true coming and going, so well put together with excellent balance and substance.  Pleased to award him Best Puppy Dog, Best Dog and Reserve Best In Show

2nd Murphy’s Diamondrige De Niro. Well made puppy of good size. Strong masculine head, kind expression and dark eye.  Plenty of bone and muscle.  Has a good depth of chest and strong loin.  Not just as settled on the move as class winner.

Graduate Dog (3)   This class proved to be the most challenging for me as the dog who took my eye both on the stack as well as on the move was unwilling to be gone over for which he paid the price.  I hope he overcomes his shyness
